Alpensped has been connecting a large part of Europe for more than a quarter of a century. We offer regular and secure transport services with over 600 of our own vehicles and vehicles bound by contract.

Alpensped is a family business and is managed by the brothers Christian and Massimo Faggin in the second generation. The name describes the forwarding activity that initially exclusively crossed the Alps from Italy to Germany and back. Today we are active in 22 European countries, but the name Alpensped still fits.

As a medium-sized family business, we have been committed to sustainability for many years. That’s why the name Alpensped also stands for high-quality logistics services and a responsible approach to the environment and people. This and excellent references make us the right partner for companies that act sustainably. Alpensped is one of the few medium-sized companies certified according to the two standards DIN EN ISO 14064 and DIN EN 16258 and offers forward-looking contract and project logistics, the organisation and execution of partial and full shipments, as well as heavy and special loads.

In addition, our working style is characterised by strong leadership, system-oriented management and a continuous improvement process. For example, digital transformation is both a great challenge and an opportunity for us. Alpensped has already taken important steps to simplify and optimise internal and external processes, especially with our customers.

25 years of Alpensped - milestones

 

1993.
Rinaldo Faggin and Hubert Belzer found the logistics company Alpensped.

1998.
Introduction and certification of the quality management system ISO 9001.

2000.
Alpensped becomes a Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) training company.

2003.
Alpensped becomes the regional forwarder for the VW Group for Romania.

2005.
Company founder Rinaldo Faggin steps down from his position as managing director. He is succeeded by his two sons Christian and Massimo Faggin.

2006.
Thanks to consistent further development (routes and range of services), Alpensped generates sales of over ten million euros for the first time.

2011.
Alpensped is certified according to the environmental standard ISO 14001 and the Corporate Carbon Footprint according to ISO 14064.

2012.
The first Sustainability Report (2011) is published. The shipment-based Transport Carbon Footprint (TCF) is shown on all invoices. Hubert Belzer retires from his position of managing director and shareholder on 31/12/2012.

2013.
Alpensped celebrates its 20th anniversary. First certification of the shipment-based Transport Carbon Footprint (TCF) according to DIN EN 16258. Publication of the second Sustainability Report (2012). Participation for the first time in the largest international trade fair, transport logistic in Munich. Construction of the photovoltaic system on the roof of the company building.

2014.
The state government of Baden-Württemberg and the Caritas Association (Catholic relief services) award Alpensped the “Medium-Sized Company Award for Social Responsibility in Baden-Württemberg 2014” for its social commitment.

2015.
Alpensped expands its country portfolio to a total of 20 routes. Publication of the third Sustainability Report (2013/2014). Participation in the largest international trade fair, transport logistic in Munich.

2016.
Alpensped continues to grow to 30 employees and generates sales of over 20 million euros.

2017.
Participation in the largest international trade fair, transport logistic in Munich. Winner of the Lea Medium-Sized Company Award. Corporate design relaunch.

2018.
Alpensped celebrates its 25th anniversary. Publication of the fourth Sustainability Report (2015/2016/2017). New website relaunch.
