Externally audited management systems and certificates
Alpensped operates using certified management systems and externally audited certificates. These help us to document requirements relating to quality, environmental management, emissions accounting and corporate stability in a transparent manner.
The following certifications and certificates each relate to the scope specified in the certificate, the stated audit period and the methodology described therein.
Quality management - ISO 9001:2015
Our quality management system has been in place since 1998 and is certified by TÜV Süd.
ISO 9001:2015 sets out requirements for a quality management system. It helps companies to structure processes, define responsibilities, systematically take customer requirements into account and continuously review the quality of their services.
At Alpensped, the quality management system forms the basis for the organisation and further development of our transport and logistics processes.

Environmental management - ISO 14001:2015
Alpensped has been certified to ISO 14001:2015 since 2011. The certification is issued by TÜV Süd.
ISO 14001:2015 sets out requirements for an environmental management system. These include, amongst other things, identifying relevant environmental aspects, setting environmental objectives, reviewing measures and continuously improving the system.
The environmental management system helps us to systematically assess our operational environmental impacts and to plan, implement and review appropriate measures within our area of responsibility.

Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) - DIN EN ISO 14064-1:2019
Alpensped has its CCF audited for the entire company in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14064-1:2019.
The CCF describes the company’s greenhouse gas emissions within the defined accounting framework. It comprises the direct and indirect emissions reported in the relevant report.
The verification is carried out by Intertek Certification GmbH. The underlying methodology, the period under review, the emission sources included and the scope are set out in the relevant certificate.

Transport Carbon Footprint (TCF) - DIN EN ISO 14083:2024
Alpensped has its TCF audited. Since 2013, the TCF has been certified in accordance with DIN EN 16258. From 2025, the audit will be carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14083:2024.
The TCF describes the calculated greenhouse gas emissions from transport-related services within the defined calculation framework. The calculation serves to record transport-related emissions in a transparent manner and to report them on a consignment-by-consignment basis.
The audit is carried out by Intertek Certification GmbH. The methodology, data basis, assumptions, system boundaries and scope are set out in the relevant certificate.

CrefoZert Creditworthiness Certificate
Alpensped receives the CrefoZert Creditworthiness Certificate from Creditreform every year.
The certificate is based on an assessment of financial stability and creditworthiness in accordance with Creditreform’s criteria. It documents the assessment at the time of issue and relates to the assessment period specified in the certificate.
